Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the PID?

On the property tax notice, the BC Assessment notice or the title: nine digits written 000-000-000.

Is this a title search?

No. The LTSA sells the title search (owner, charges, liens). Here you see the open provincial layers at once.

How do I know if a property is in the ALR?

Type its PID: the page says whether its interior point is inside the Agricultural Land Reserve.

Does it show contaminated sites?

No. The Site Registry is a paid search on BC OnLine with no open licence; the report tells you to order it.

What is in the CA$19 report?

ALR, wildfire history, heritage area, plan, class, area, the median dwelling value and shelter costs of the municipality and the other parcels of the plan — a PDF within 24 hours.
